The Sparkle of Winter...

So far this season I have spent countless hours at my kitchen table indulging in hot chocolate and making origami diamonds for Eyepolis' winter displays. I'm mad about paper art of any sort (you may have noticed paper popsicles and tulips in seasons past).

Beyond the fun of making origami art, this season my paper diamonds feel symbolic.  We are a small business with so many facets and talents that help us shine. We are creative and funny, serious and caring, hardworking and sincere. These qualities are enduring and create the beauty of the entire diamond shape. Anyone who has shopped for glasses with our opticians knows how much we love what we sell...and enjoy the time we spend together.

All our wonderful customers and patients feel like family. Some of you stop in just to say hello on your way to dinner. Others share both heartbreaks and successes. It is all of you that make Eyepolis sparkle!

In the next few weeks we will be unveiling truly exciting art for the eyes from collections FEB31ST and Sama. It seems disrespectful to call them just eyeglass frames. Handmade frames that make you gasp and say, "I've never seen anything like this before..." Please come and admire...

August...all but done...

August was a month full of activity for the Eyepolis family.  The last few weeks of Katies' pregnancy, taking a new yoga pose shot every week to post on Facebook, very exciting.  A fairytale luncheon and shower here at the store given by Dr. Viki. And finally...a beautiful and much awaited little darling for us to ooh and ahh and fawn over.  We bet Katie cannot wait to start buying shoes for that sweet girl!

We're looking forward to the changing seasons, and with that new styles of eyewear that will land here in the store.  Already we've seen lots of new Menizzi come in, great colors and shapes...
